Basic candle burning safety recommendations.
Burning candles bring warmth into one's home, but also certain risks associated
with an open flame.
Please follow basic safety rules when handling/burning any candle:
Never burn the candle unattended.
Always remove all packaging and labels from the candle before
you light it.
Keep the candle away from children or pets.
Never burn the candle near flammable objects and in drafty areas.
Always burn the candle on a stable fireproof base to prevent
it from tipping over.
Extinguish candles when they get within 2" of their holders.
Keep the wax pool free of foreign objects such as wick trimmings
and matches.
Do not extinguish candles by blowing directly onto the flame.
Use a candle snuffer or hold your finger in front of the flame and blow
gently along it. The air will flow around your finger and extinguish
the candle from both sides. This prevents any hot wax from splattering.
Another good way is to dip the wick briefly into the pool of wax using
fireproof object. When done properly this will prevent any smoke coming
out of extinguished wick.
Proper Candle Burning:
Always trim wick to 1/4 inch and center it before lighting candle.
This will make proper size flame and reduce smoke. For the first burn
let the candle burn only until there is about 1/8" solid rim left.
Keeping flame straight will promote symmetrical blossom shape.
Shipping and handling.
Orders usually ship within two business days. During the high season (November
and December) please allow up to 10 days for your order to arrive.
Orders of $75.00 or more are shipped
free.
Shipping charges are calculated at the time of purchase and are based
on value of the order. Currently we offer UPS ground or USPS only. If

Shipping limits: We ship to any physical address in the continental United
States (no P.O. Boxes). For orders to be shipped to AK or HI please call
our sales department at 1-877-811-1008 or (858) 271-7078.
Security of shopping:
Buyers security is provided by Mal's
E-commerce. All transaction are secured thru SSL - Secure Sockets
Layer protocol. SSL works by using a private key to encrypt data that's
transferred over the SSL connection.
Customer guarantee:
Your satisfaction is our primary goal. Damaged items will be promptly
replaced. If you are not fully satisfied with our product, you can return
it back within 30 days for refund.
You may exchange items by promptly returning them unused and in their
original packaging.
Return policy: You may return an item for refund or replacement within
30 days of the shipment date. Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable.
All returns must be accompanied by the packing slip. When you return an
item, please indicate the reason for the return.
You may want to insure your return; we cannot be responsible for lost
or misdirected returns. If you paid for your order by credit card, a credit
will be issued and will appear on your billing statement.
